Charles de Froment, founder of the Pergamon firm, answered questions from Armelle Favre for Le Figaro on the concept of the “big resignation”. What if the big resignation was only the manifestation of a healthy functioning of the job market? Far from the preconceived ideas on the profile of “big resigners” and their motivations, we should be wary of this concept, which comes from the United States, and perhaps prefer the term “great reshuffling”.

This subject invites companies and public authorities to better respond to the demand for reconciliation between private and professional life in France. Paternity leave, status of carers, teleworking… A re-evaluation of social policies and the adoption of more flexible models of organisation in companies will be decisive!
